COTTONWOOD QUILTERS 50TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION MARCH 2030
BLOCK LOGO CONTEST
The 50th Birthday Committee is looking for a Block design to use as a logo for the celebration. It will be used for merchandise to commemorate the occasion and also for planned and to-be-determined group projects to include all members in the celebration.
Birthday Block Contest Rules are:• Sewer-Friendly! We will encourage all members to participate in projects using this block.• It may be an Original Design or a Traditional or Open Resourced Block or a variation of such. • It must contain a tree – any kind of tree.• Any technique may be used – pieced, paper-pieced, applique (hand-, fused-, or machine-) or a combination of techniques.• Make a 12” block (12 ½” unfinished) predominantly green(s) and gold(s). • Bring your block to the August 2026 combined meeting. We will display all blocks and hold a Viewers’ Choice election to select The Birthday Block.• All blocks will be returned to the makers.
