This is the guild's charity quilting corner. We have quilts in almost all stages for you to take home and work on. If you like to just cut, or just quilt or just piece, or whatever we can find you a project. Our guidelines say finished quilts should be no less than 36” x 36” and usually not bigger than twin size but bigger quilts are still welcome.
Finished quilts have been donated to Boys Town foster kids, Sienna Frances House, Project Hope, hospice houses,
2019 flood victims, and many other places.
This year we are also going to do a Quilts & Covers Challenge. The theme is mystery pieces. Sign ups will be taken until we run out of mysteries!
Quilts & Covers Challenge:
When you sign up you will receive a brown paper bag ofmystery pieces! It may contain fabric, blocks, block parts or
any combination of quilt related things. Your goal is to complete a quilt top (bonus points for quilting it) using
EVERYTHING in the bag. The goal is no leftovers! You will have the choice to keep or donate the finished tops/quilts
to Quilts and Covers. Voting for prizes will happen at the meeting in May.
