We will be cutting, sorting, sewing, and you can decide what you want to work on. There are a couple irons and ironing boards at the church, as well as table risers and some cutting boards/rulers to use.
Finished quilts have been donated to Boys Town foster kids, Siena Francis House, Project Hope, hospice houses,
2019 flood victims, and many other places.
Quilts & Covers Challenge:
This year we are also going to do a Quilts & Covers Challenge. The theme is mystery pieces. Sign ups will be taken until we run out of mysteries!
When you sign up you will receive a brown paper bag ofmystery pieces! It may contain fabric, blocks, block parts or
any combination of quilt related things. Your goal is to complete a quilt top (bonus points for quilting it) using
EVERYTHING in the bag. The goal is no leftovers! You will have the choice to keep or donate the finished tops/quilts
to Quilts and Covers. Voting for prizes will happen at the meeting in May.
