Using a variety of fabrics including scraps we will fussy-cut and trace shapes and then glue then onto the design before free motion quilting. The quilt can either be finished as a 15" hanging using a binding or stretched onto a 12” artist’s canvas.

Carol Coniglio
Workshop Description: In this workshop you will learn how to use the V-Block tool from Studio 180 Designs. The V-Block is used in many quilt patterns and the V-Block tool helps improve your accuracy and keep your points when putting the blocks together. Using this pattern, you will make a variety of block sizes showing the versatility of the V-Block. After taking the class you will be able to identify V-Blocks in other pattens and know how to convert the pattern to use this tool. (Studio 180 Design V-Block tool and purchase of the Spring Forward quilt pattern is required for this class)
Dimensional Rods, Monday, 4/21/25, 10am-4pm, Celtic Quilter
Tony Jacobson, Piece Works Quilt Shop
Workshop Description: This pattern relies on the use of three gradations of the same color. Tony chose the Colorfall collection by Banyan Batiks because you can get all three values of each color in the same bolt. Yardages and cutting are based on using this line of fabrics. You can also make this quilt using ombré fabrics as long as you choose ones that go from light to dark across the full width of the fabric.
