Quilt Challenge Project 2010-2011 

The Saying Goes…….

1. Your quilt must be based upon a well-known quote or saying.  It can represent the typical—what your mother always told you.  The quote may be by a famous person with their name somewhere on the quilt.
2. The saying must be obvious when looking at your quilt.
3. The quilt must be newly made expressly for this challenge.
4. The front of the quilt must include a recognizable amount of at least one striped fabric of any size.
5. The completed quilt is no larger than 48” X 54”
6. May be any flat shape with a maximum perimeter of 204” (This means your quilt can be a circle, triangle, hexagon, etc.)
7. You may have embellishments
8. Your entry must be pieced and bound by you alone.  It may be tied, hand or machine quilted by you or long-arm quilted by someone else.
 
Completed projects will be due shortly before the May 2011 meeting for evaluation.  They will be displayed at the May meeting and a Viewer’s Choice award given.
